The trip was truly excellent, the guide Haydar Çekiç was superb, and all 13 of us thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The slight disappointment was the change of hotel in Cappadocia from Dedemans to Crystal because Vasudevan had mentioned to me that Dedemans was the best hotel on the whole tour. However, that was well compensated by upgrades in Istanbul from Hilton Parksa to Conrad the first time and Hilton Istanbul the second time. Both were luxurious deluxe hotels. All the hotels were very good except the hotel in Ankara which was not quite up to mark as airconditioning did not work in many of our rooms. The other slight disappointment (for which NO blame can go to Hop) was the rain in Pamukkale. The rest of the days were bright and sunny. Haydar still gave us a pretty good glimpse of Pamukkale and Hieropolis.

Among the optional tours, the Hot air Balloon ride was a great experience, though expensive, but the Whirling Dervishes was a disappointment but we have to take the good with the not-so-good. The Bosphorus Cruise & St Sophia also was very enjoyable. I feel this part should have been made part of the tour instead of being an optional because these are among the most famous sights of Istanbul. Instead, the half-day visit to the Grand Bazar could have been made an optional for the compulsive shoppers, and pure sightseers like me could have easily opted out of it.

All said and done, I have no hesitation whatsoever in strongly recommending this Turkey tour to any one who is interested in visiting that fascinating country. Our particular thanks to you and your colleagues for attending to all the details at this end.

The Egypt tour organized by you was a great, memorable, lifetime experience. The arrangement with your partners in Cairo was perfect.

The tour leader, Mr. Mohsen Masood, Tour Director, Mohamed Khalil were very friendly understanding punctual and helpful in making our visit very comfortable, the tour guide in Cairo, Mr. Mena was multi-lingual knowledgeable egyptologist took us through the pyramids, museum , coptic tourist spots in Cairo and Alexandria.

Our stay in Zoser hotel in Cairo was like a second home and had variety of continental and Egyptian dishes for breakfast and dinner. The cruise on Amarante on the river Nile for 3 days was again a very pleasant experience. The cabins were comfortable food was continental and Egyptian. Belly dancer and Darvesh swirling was a class by itself. The PHARAOHS dinner cruise on the Nile at Cairo was superb. Oberoi hotel prepared exclusive vegetarian Indian dishes and served us

especially in a cosy corner, this was really flattering.

The belly dancer was very pretty and performed excellent feat, balancing a stick on the head and doing belly dancing, one should not miss this experience. No doubt Egypt is a vast land visiting Aswan, Abu Simbel, Kom ombo, Edufu, Luxer tourist spots of temples, tombs, pyramids, sculpture and painting took us back over 3000 years history. I can go on praising all your efforts.

However, we being vegetarian missed our Indian style vegetarian spicy food and had to compromise with whatever we could manage like pizzas, sweet dishes and salt & spice less bland food. If more vegetarian tourist from India are to be attracted then Egyptian tourism should cater Indian vegetarian food.

We had dinner at restaurant called 4 Seasons, the proprietor Mr. Hany Taha, could put in a few Indian vegetarian dishes exclusively for us, he put in floor show with hindi songs and three dancers dancing to hindi music.

We had booked a 15 day combined trip to Egypt and Turkey via Hop Travels.


I must say I was pleasantly surprised with good services all throughout the trip.
Throughout the Egypt tour as we were alone we were a bit apprehensive at first but the trip was very good.

Guides for only myself and my mother a separate car etc. really felt good. We visited Cairo first in our tour, the representative of hop Mr Ahmed was waiting for us and took care of every need of ours all throughout the tour. The highlights of Egypt was the Nile Cruise Luxor Carnac Temple and of course the pyramids.

We then proceeded to Istanbul again the concerned person was already waiting for us and again the whole tour was enjoyable Highlights of turkey was The Blue mosque, Cappadocia, Salt lake, Calcium terraces, Ephesus.

The Hotels were really terrific.

All in all a really pleasant experience looking forward to travel with them in the future ofcourse after i collect some more money.

Many years back as I flipped through my school history book, one chapter always fascinated me - Egypt and the ‘sorrow of Miser, Nile’. Many years hence I ventured out on my first ‘family vacation’ to my fascination country. I was joined by my wife, son, my father & my mother, a crew of 5!

Now the important part. To find an ideal, economic, efficient, friendly, professional…. travel facilitator! Sounds tough, isn’t it? But the world is tough but one has to find ones way out. The search ended (and also began!) with HOP TRAVELS & TOURS. One week of pure thrill, excellent is the only word when you look back about the facilities provided.

Thank you for organising an extremely coordinated tour for us. The tour was very well designed & spaced. Everything worked with military precision. It had really exceeded our expectation. We were fortunate to have wonderful climate all through out the trip. People will not believe that at Aswan & Luxor we needed light jackets in the afternoon. There were some jerks too. We had experienced Titanic type situation when our ship collided with another while sailing on Nile (first time in the history of Nile cruise). There were some damages in the ship but nobody was hurt & the best part is, everything went as per schedule.

Your suggestion to avail Five Star facilities during cruise & at Hurghada and Four Star during stay at Cairo was indeed a good one. In fact every day water supply & inclusion of tips in the package ware well thought of & highly practical. There was no hidden cost & the tour plan covered majority important places of Egypt in great detail. Here I would like to specially mention of our guide Mr. Mohamed Farouk. He is extremely witty, very much caring and highly knowledgeable. We are really missing him after coming back to India.
